Monday is my day to run the averages. Slow and steady is this weeks theme of my 20:4 lifestyle.
Since last Monday...
I moved my window around a bit this week to accommodate others. Yeah, won't be doing that again while I'm in this phase. Made it harder to find my equilibrium. I even resorted to black coffee one day. Maybe when I'm at goal, flexing get's easier to adjust but for now, nope, not for me.
I went all week withOUT writing down what I was eating. That was harder than anticipated. It's troubling how much the diet mentality robs us of trusting our built in and beautifully designed Appetite Control. Watching grandkids this week, I saw their little AC in action. What a joy to behold.
I made simple rolls this week along with a homemade cauliflower, corn, potato, pea soup with coconut milk and spices. Oh so good. Just a little bread did not tank this weeks results. And now, I'm not having any bread craving. That's a total win in my book.
Inflammation is about the same. Way better since going plant based but hopeful that IF takes it down another notch. I've read that inflammation triggers are stored in fat cells, so I wonder if the slow weight loss is like letting the inflammation out like a slow tire leak. Thinking about it this way, it might just stay painful til I get closer to goal. We shall see.
Why eat in a window? Atophogy...
